Culturally Responsive Therapy
As a Chinese American psychologist and daughter of immigrants, I offer culturally responsive therapy for individuals navigating cultural expectations, identity, intergenerational relationships, and family dynamics. I understand the complexities of balancing multiple cultural influences and support clients in building self-awareness, confidence, and a stronger sense of authenticity.
My goal is to provide a collaborative, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools to thrive.
Many adults from immigrant families experience pressures that can be difficult to explain to others—whether it's navigating family expectations, feeling caught between cultures, managing guilt or people-pleasing, or struggling to define their own identity. Therapy offers a space where these experiences are understood within their cultural context, not viewed in isolation. Together, we can help you strengthen your sense of self, improve relationships, set healthy boundaries, and move through life's challenges with greater confidence, balance, and self-compassion.
